About
It all started when…
In the late 70s, my father trained me as a sign writer and silk screen printer in his studio in Vauxhall, London. At the same time, I was also studying pattern cutting at St Martin's college.
Dad and I worked together for many years and often discussed that times would change to a digital form, being computers.
As a natural progression in the late 80s, I put my brushes & squeegees to rest and, using my graphical skills, transitioned into computer graphics. Not long after my introduction to the world of floppy disks & reel to reel tapes, I joined a software company called Dalim in London, which was at the leading edge of computer graphics to develop software & train users. At around the same time, Digital photo retouching was also developing into a mighty specialised industry, so the challenge of a brief to create something that was only a vision was revolutionary, and I was on board.
In 1992 I moved to New York City to further my career in retouching and in 1997 Cursor Control was established. Still, to this day, we create the desired vision by implementing a simple approach and successfully executing the results through clear communication, care and a wealth of knowledge.
Today I am based in Australia between Melbourne and Perth, and like everyone work across various time zones.
